My name is Karishma. Art is my purpose of existence and a journey inward. I studied BA (Honours) Media, Sociology & Cultural Studies from Newcastle University and a Masters in Journalism with a specialization in Documentary making from the University of Regina. Since childhood, I have strived to capture my abstract perception of the world. My process is experimental by nature. Many times I begin my work with found objects. My works are acrylic paintings, visual media and digital illustrations. Always exploring and evolving, my brush for craves depths and metaphors.
I am also a Reiki and Aura Healer. I believe that the window of learning and unlearning has endless views. I grab these views and color them on my canvas.
